I used to think coaching was a buzzword. Something trendy, pseudo-scientific, and vague. Now, I live and breathe it. This is the story of how I moved from being a traditional teacher to becoming a certified Neurolanguage Coach® — and how it changed everything: my mindset, my work, and my entire way of thinking.
From Traditional Teacher to a New Way of Thinking
For almost 20 years, I worked as an English teacher, trainer, and eventually the founder of my own online school. I created personalized learning programs, led teams, mentored students, and built strong client relationships.
But something was missing. Even though my school was growing, I didn’t feel fully aligned. I realized I was searching for a deeper way to support learning — something beyond methods and textbooks. Something more human, more brain-friendly, and emotionally grounded.
I stopped hiring teachers and turned inward. I decided to become the teacher I was always searching for.
The Discovery: What Is Neurolanguage Coaching®?
DELTA wasn’t the answer. I already had CELTA and years of practical experience. But rigid methods didn’t speak to me. I needed something more flexible, more holistic.
That’s when I discovered Neurolanguage Coaching®. At the time, I didn’t know exactly what it meant. But I trusted the instinct.
It turned out to be exactly what I was looking for: a brain-based, personalized coaching approach that combines neuroscience with professional coaching methods.
The method was developed by Rachel Paling, a coach, trainer, writer, and mentor. She created a global network of certified Neurolanguage Coaches® and built a trademarked system accredited by the ICF (International Coaching Federation). And yes, you can only call yourself a Neurolanguage Coach® if you’re certified through this official training.
From the first session of my training, I knew something powerful had shifted in me. I was thinking differently. I was listening differently. I started noticing how my brain was changing.
I Was Already on the Path — Coaching Gave It a Name
The most beautiful realization? I had already been doing many of the things coaching promotes. Creating personalized learning paths. Listening deeply. Connecting with clients beyond the textbook.
But now, I had structure, science, and support behind it. I had a new language for what I believed in. I was learning how the brain learns — and using that knowledge to help others learn smarter, faster, and with less stress.
Coaching became not just a tool, but a mindset. A lifestyle.
Every Brain Works the Same — and Yet Uniquely
Neurolanguage Coaching® is built on a beautiful truth: neurologically, our brains function in similar ways. But psychologically, we are completely unique.
That’s why coaching works. It’s never one-size-fits-all.
In my sessions, we identify individual learning styles, set clear goals, and adapt based on neuroscience. We learn how to store, recall, and truly understand information. We make the process mindful, efficient, and emotionally sustainable.
Personal Growth Beyond Language
Through this work, my own life has transformed.
I’ve learned how to manage my energy, regulate emotions, and practice real self-reflection. I’ve become more patient, more aware, and more resilient — not just with clients, but in my family life too.
I’ve stopped chasing perfection. I’ve embraced how my brain works. And now I help others do the same.
The Journey Continues
Today, I’m an Advanced Neurolanguage Coach®. I continue my journey in neuroscience, take part in collaborative projects, and support both learners and educators worldwide.
Neurolanguage Coaching® didn’t just change how I teach. It rewired how I think.
If you’re curious to explore this path or want to experience a new way of learning, I’m here to support you.
Because learning is not just about knowledge. It’s about understanding how your mind learns — and growing through it.
